Started in 2008, icoone is the only technology that provides Multi Micro Alveolar Stimulation - a true revolution in the treatment of the connective tissue. With thousands of stimulations per minute via a series of micro-holes in the surface of a motorized microstimulator, we are able to deliver a completely customizable treatment, for body sculpting and skin rejuvenation.
Micro-stimulation allows to stimulate the skin in all its structure, in a non-invasive way.
A micro-vacuole is the functional unit of the skin. Its collagen structure is composed by fibers which divide, expand, reduce and slide one on the other. They are linked together and form a continuous grid. The tensions and pressures are distributed in all directions. Those fibers that constitute the frame of the micro-vacuole are composed of collagen, elastin and lipids. The connective tissue is made of billions of micro-vacuoles, organized in a chaotic layout. The scientific research on the structure and mobility of the connective tissue has led to the creation of our new technology.
Sagging skin and fibrosis are due to the change in collagen fibers that surround the fat cells. Under normal conditions, the collagen is flexible and supports skin and hypodermic tissue. Quality and quantity depend on genes and metabolic changes that take place over the years. One of these changes is the main cause for cellulite and is called glycation of collagen.
Glycation is a combination of collagen fibers with molecules of glucose and causes a disorganization of collagen fibers. This disorganization makes them lose their support capacity. With our technology (up to 21,600 microstimulations/min), we increase the production of the collagen and elastin and cause a hardening of the dermal and subdermal tissue.
The icoone technology delivers 3 simultaneous processes:
Drainage:
- action on blood circulation
- action on lymphatic system
- intracellular spaces drainage
Firming:
- stimulation of the membrane microreceptor followed by elastin and collagen secretion
- stimulation of the fibroblasts
Remodeling:
- stimulation of lipolysis
